Network Support Engineer - Hawkes Bay

We are looking for a mature and talented self-starter to join our Napier based IT Support team with network and firewall skills. This is a great opportunity to work with a friendly, talented team, interesting customers and exciting solutions.

The role includes exposure to a wide variety of technologies and comes with excellent learning opportunities. You will have experience working in Customer Support and a friendly understanding attitude is essential. Operating system skills including Linux / Unix and Microsoft are essential. Formal qualifications are desirable, but not necessarily required.

You will also need to have :

  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise
  • Sense of humour and ability to be a team player
  • Willingness to go the extra mile where required
  • Current and clean drivers license

    • Duties will include :

  • Helpdesk and Customer Support Services
  • On call Roster
  • Project implementation and documentation
  • Travel around Hawkes Bay for Customer Onsite work
