Operations Support Systems (OSS)
Prophecy has developed and supported a number of OSS (Operational Support System) platforms, including billing systems, user management, and service configuration management for a number of telecommunications companies.

We specialise in commercial product integration and the development of solutions through a combination of in-house software engineering and open source tools and applications. This combined approach delivers applications to address issues that would otherwise require expensive or time-consuming customisations of commercial products.

Billing Systems
We have developed and contributed to open-source billing platforms for telecommunications and service providers. These systems are designed to charge ISP data usage, VoIP calls and recurring services. Prophecy’s unique combination of network engineering and software development skills can provide consulting and design expertise in all aspects of accounting, mediation, collation and billing.

User Authentication and Management
Prophecy has in-depth experience delivering reliable centralised authentication solutions that can achieve a dramatic reduction in provisioning times. We have experience working with RADIUS, LDAP and Active Directory services, including developing and supporting graphical web based user interfaces to manage accounts.

IP Management
Managing, documenting and tracking IP assignment and DNS information can be challenging for both organisations and established telecommunications companies alike. Prophecy's staff has the skillset and experience to design and deliver management tools and systems for IP information, DNS management and even integration of this information into configuration generation and management systems.

Configuration Management
Service Providers require reliable tools to generate and manage device configurations. Prophecy has deployed and currently supports both commercial off the shelf products and customised solutions. Automation provides numerous benefits including reduced costs, reduced errors and a proper audit trail of changes made. Automation can also provide the additional advantages of reliable configuration, rollbacks, service versioning and disaster recovery.
